Office Waiting Area and Work Station Make Over:

We really liked the clean, contemporary feel of this corporate office waiting room. Marble flooring and refined wall coverings set a sophisticated foundation, while the deep-dish tray ceiling introduces an architectural focal point and a sense of volume to an otherwise compact space. Oversized, colorful lounge chairs and a circular coffee table bring warmth and approachability, complemented by potted plants and a textured area rug. Wall art and carefully chosen furnishings keep the palette crisp yet inviting.

Across the room a convenience kitchen offers guests a morning snack or coffee, reinforcing the thoughtful hospitality of the build-out. Moving into the office area, a large, open workspace greets visitors with spacious cubicles and expansive wall art illustrating stages of production. The juxtaposition of custom commercial-grade carpet, hardwood flooring, and tailored wall finishes communicates that this is a state-of-the-art facility. Linear overhead lighting with bespoke wood trims adds warmth and rhythm to the open aesthetic.

Key Interiors Corporate Office: Lombard:

We photographed the corporate office of Key Interiors in Lombard.  Key Interiors is Chicago lands premiere commercial design build firm.  Their expansive complex includes a product warehouse, architect and interior design centers and a vast portfolio of projects dating back decades. More to come.

Last in this series are the executive offices, secretary work stations and conference room for LifeSpice Chicago.  We absolutely love how interior designer Debby Hill of Key Interiors transformed this warehouse space into a suite of offices, conference rooms, and development lab.  Just outstanding work with excellent results.

Break Room LifeSpice Chicago -

Here are a couple of shots of the large employee break area at LifeSpice Chicago. Plenty of seating and a spacious, open atmosphere make this a comfortable spot for lunch or a quick cup of coffee. The space includes a commercial‑grade kitchen for preparing meals and flexible seating arrangements that work well for informal meetings or solo breaks. More to come.

LifeSpice Chicago Development Lab:

We met Commercial Interior Designer Debby Hill on a cold, dreary Chicago morning to photograph her recent work at LifeSpice. These images are from the development lab, where Debby solved practical laboratory needs with thoughtful interior design.

Long, custom cabinets provide abundant work surfaces and organized storage for chemicals, vessels, pH meters, autoclaves, spectrophotometers, and temperature-controlled units. The layout keeps tools and instruments within easy reach while maintaining clean sightlines and efficient workflow. Subtle material choices and restrained detailing let the equipment and development process take center stage without sacrificing workflow or production.

The development lab flows directly into the processing kitchen — a seamless transition that supports product iteration and scaled production. We’ll feature the kitchen and its connection to the lab in our next post.

Casual Office Meeting Space:

We recently photographed the corporate offices and lab of LifeSpice in Chicago. One standout feature of their newly remodeled facility is the central meeting and gathering area for the local offices. Designed for collaboration, it accommodates quick casual meetings, informal brainstorming, and easy coffee breaks. The open, relaxed atmosphere invites camaraderie and fosters interaction among coworkers while maintaining a refined, professional aesthetic.
