Ok, I couldn’t resist sharing just a few more views of Hotel hallways.  Whenever shooting architectural, lighting is the key element a making your composition just pop off the page.  A few favorites from some years back.

Shooting the Hotel Gym:

When capturing images, utilizing talent can enhance the visual appeal, particularly for photographing areas like the hotel gym. However, at times, budget constraints may limit the use of models, necessitating shooting the space as is. In such situations, consider incorporating a workout scene on the screens to add dynamism. To infuse vibrancy, focus on lighting to make colors stand out and inject vitality into the composition. In cases where the gym features windows, leverage the morning sunlight for a natural and inviting ambiance. 

Lobbies, Hallways & Powder Rooms:

All architectural photographers understand the allure of capturing the pool area or the bar and restaurant in a luxurious hotel. However, it's equally crucial to pay attention to seemingly ordinary spaces like hallways, lobbies, and powder rooms. These areas serve as the initial impression for hotel guests, setting the tone for their stay. Hence, meticulous lighting and processing are just as vital in these areas as when photographing a lavish suite.

This living room designed by Marsha Jones., is so elegant. The beautiful area rug, custom chairs,  and bespoke window treatments surround baby grand piano. You can just picture yourself sitting and enjoying an after dinner drink or a morning coffee. We loved this space!
