We really liked the guest suites in this Chicago high-rise apartment. Practical is what comes to mind: each space functions as a comfortable living area for an overnight stay or an extended visit with family. Furniture on castors moves easily to clear the room for an open sofa bed or a hidden Murphy bed, so the suite shifts from lounge to sleeping quarters in seconds.
The contemporary decor is thoughtful and restrained, balancing style with everyday usability. A modest desk provides a spot to work with a laptop or send a postcard, while clever storage keeps clutter out of sight. Large windows frame sweeping views of Lake Michigan, letting light and the city skyline become part of the room’s calm, welcoming atmosphere. With that combination of comfort, flexibility, and scenery, you might find yourself staying longer than planned.
