Four Seasons Room and Deck Addition:

It takes a special builder to construct a ‘home.’ That’s what the resident of this Northern Illinois house told me as we set up to photograph the exterior. Orren Pickell built the house years ago, and it has since become a true home for the family, their children, and grandchildren. Over time, as the family’s needs evolved, the home was expanded. Yet, true to the craft of an outstanding builder, you would never know additions had been made—the seamless quality is remarkable.

Nestled in a secluded, private neighborhood, the house is surrounded by lush plants and towering trees, creating a serene backdrop. Our primary focus during the shoot was the walkway, deck area, and the four seasons room—spaces that beautifully blend indoor comfort with the outdoors.
