Urban Air Adventure Park:

This was a fun shoot for us.  It's an Urban Air Adventure Park.  We got in before they opened to get a few shots for LEVEL Construction.  Since clean up and small detail work was still ongoing, we were limited with what we were able to shoot.

A few favorites are below.

Hampton Inn - Northern Illinois:

This is a Hampton Inn we photographed in Northern Illinois.  We’re going to be featuring quite a few Hotels, as they are among our favorite projects to photograph.  I remember shooting this one at dawn following a hard rain.  I was able to get outside and shoot the exterior just before Sunrise, then rush inside to get the interior.   We shot this just before the soft open, and our team was busy moving boxes, and prepping the area’s we needed to photograph.  We had less than three hours before the morning staff arrived.  We got it finished, just in time.

Just a few highlights below.

Elegant Chicago Condo:

This is a project we photographed in Chicago for Lauren Coburn  There were more than forty images captured during the extended full-day photo shoot, so selecting just a few for a post is a challenge.

Lauren and her entire team are so easy to work with, and their designs are always elegant, luxurious and timeless.  There isn’t enough space here to elaborate on the all of the beautiful custom wall finishes, furnishings, carpets, window treatments and fixtures that completed the design.

I will share just a few favorites.

Sears Holdings -

Several years ago, we had a photo shoot at the Sears Holdings complex in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I have always liked this shot.

As my business partner Mary Beth and I walked through the mezzanine, the foyer suddenly cleared out after a party left. Seizing the opportunity, she quickly rushed down the escalators to prevent anyone from entering the shot. I dropped the tripod and framed this up with an 11mm Carl Zeiss lens.  I am glad that I did... the rest of the day the foyer was packed.

Luxury Office Shoot -

Another beautiful project we photographed for Benvenuti and Stein Inc., was a commercial office space in the Chicago Loop. Benvenuti and Stein is well known for their furniture-grade custom cabinets and built-ins. Here they applied that old-world craftsmanship to not only crafting desks and reception areas, but also the beautiful flooring and custom conference table. Notice too the fine wood panel accents throughout the space.

The entire remodel was handled by their talented team of artisans which gave the entire space a very comfortable, luxurious feel.

Below are a few highlights.

Small Kitchen Remodel -

Remodeling an older home can often be a challenge, requiring the expertise of a good     architect, interior designer, and custom home builder.  Benvenuti and Stein Inc. offer a comprehensive solution by providing all three services coupled with a world-class, in-house custom cabinet and furniture shop.

We have been photographing projects for Geno Benvenuti for well over a decade, and his work consistently showcases meticulous attention to detail and intelligent design.  The fit and finish of their projects are of the highest quality.

Below are a few standout examples from the kitchen area of one of their recent projects.

Flashback Friday:

We photographed this stunning room for Expressive Interiors in 2009. The custom furnishings, drapes, paint, and Bill Mack wall relief made it a statement room worthy of being showcased in various magazine articles, ads, websites, and social media platforms.

This image became a benchmark photo for Expressive Interiors for several years, showcasing their commitment to creating visually stunning and unique interior designs.
