Just one last quick post — the perfect retreat for the tired homeowner: a cozy custom pergola. Stone and wood pillars anchor a large gable roof with a warm hardwood interior ceiling. Heavy canvas curtains keep the chill out while you enjoy a roaring fire in the stone fireplace or watch your favorite game with a hot toddy in hand. Clean, timeless details and thoughtful materials make this space both inviting and durable. More to come.
Custom Home by Huber Homes:
We photographed this custom home by Dave Huber to showcase its meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful architecture. The stone and stucco façade evokes old‑world building traditions, while clean lines and proportionate detailing give the residence a timeless, refined presence. Set on a private wooded lot, the property opens onto a spacious outdoor patio—an ideal spot for a hot cup of tea on an autumn day, quietly framed by the surrounding trees and designed to maximize both comfort and connection to nature.
Custom Den by Huber Homes:
Continuing with a custom home by master home builder Dave Huber. Here we find old-world craftsmanship rendered with modern precision: rich hardwood floors that guide you through rooms layered in texture and light; a wooden coffered ceiling that crowns the space with measured rhythm and depth; custom built-in bookcases, the kind that invite touch and linger in the eye; and hardwood wainscot that anchors walls with quiet, enduring detail. Every element bears the mark of master craftsmen—hand-fitted joinery, thoughtful proportions, and materials chosen for longevity and warmth. More to come from Huber Homes.
Huber Homes Master Bath:
Master home builder Dave Huber stands apart among his peers. Dave isn’t just a master carpenter—he is a gentleman: always kind, respectful, and notably without an unkind word for anyone. His craftsmanship extends beyond building fine custom homes to expert remodeling; clients often chose to wait for a slot on his production schedule because his work was worth it.
Here we feature rooms from a custom home Dave completed a few years ago. Spotlighting the spacious master bath, the design showcases fine finishes and thoughtful details throughout: clean, precise millwork; carefully scaled lighting; stone surfaces laid with quiet confidence; and hardware selections that balance durability with refined simplicity. The layout emphasizes both luxury and practicality, with generous circulation, clear sightlines, and storage solutions that hide clutter while remaining accessible.

Commercial Reception Hall Interior :
Some commercial assignments focus on photographing a venue rather than producing images for an architect, designer, or builder. For this project we photographed a large banquet hall intended for marketing use — rental for corporate presentations, trade shows, private parties, and wedding receptions. Because the primary goal was to communicate the room’s scale, we used the widest architectural lens available to capture the full volume of the space and the flexibility of its layouts.
Key considerations for venue photography of this type:
Show overall scale: wide-angle framing from multiple vantage points to convey ceiling height, column spacing, and usable floor area.
Illustrate flexibility: images that demonstrate how the room can be configured for different events — theatre seating, banquet rounds, trade-show booths, and partitioned smaller rooms.
Highlight circulation and sightlines: include shots down aisles and toward staging areas to help event planners assess flow and audience sightlines.
Emphasize finishes and lighting: complementary close-ups of materials, custom millwork, and integrated lighting to support the larger context images.
Provide useful compositions for marketing: horizontal and vertical crops for web, print brochures, and social media; clean negative space for overlaying text or logos.
The result is a set of images that clearly communicate capacity, flexibility, and atmosphere — practical, accurate visuals that make it easy for prospective renters to imagine their event in the space.
Transitional Makeover by Stephanie Nickolson Design:
Some images from a recent photoshoot with Stephanie Nickolson Design. Stephanie worked her magic updating a late 20th-century home in a transitional vein with contemporary leanings. Highlights include a newly installed coffered ceiling, bespoke built-ins, and custom furnishings that elevate the space. The results feel luxurious, elegant, and refined. More to come from this project.
