The interior design leans unmistakably European, with custom-built furnishings specified to fit the space perfectly. Having worked with many interior designers — including those who are also trained architects — Letitia Holloway stands apart as the first designer we’ve collaborated with who creates fine art as part of her practice. Nearly every element in her projects, from furniture to sculptural accents to wall art, is designed, built, and finished in her own studios. The result is homes that feel less assembled and more authored: each room carries a cohesive artistic vision that reads as both functional and expressive.
Conversations in a Holloway-designed home naturally shift beyond the usual “Where did you get that?” Instead of asking about a piece in isolation, guests remark on how the artwork is woven into the architecture and furnishings — how materials, scale, color, and texture repeat and respond across surfaces and objects. A chair may echo the curve of a painting; a built-in shelving unit may frame a sculpture as though it were an integral part of the wall. That intentional cross-talk creates a rhythm and intimacy that elevates everyday living into a kind of living gallery.

Commercial spaces are often repurposed rather than torn down and rebuilt. This former family restaurant sat vacant for years until a thoughtful architectural intervention transformed it into a modern health care facility.
We photographed the exterior just before the medical tenant moved in. A new, towering atrium at the entrance, paired with fresh stone and brickwork, instantly updated the façade. New landscaping and a resurfaced parking lot completed the renewal—what once was a thirty-year-old structure now reads as newly built.

In the remodel of this Mid-Century Modern home, a partition between the dining and living rooms was removed, opening the plan and allowing light from the expansive floor-to-ceiling picture windows to flood the interior. The generous natural light enhances each area while creating an airy, cohesive environment well suited to entertaining. Guests can move effortlessly between living room, dining room, and kitchen as the spaces flow into one another.
The bespoke dining table and chairs by Michelle’s Interiors reinforce the home’s classic minimalist aesthetic, their clean lines and refined materials complementing the architecture. A large fireplace anchors the living area, introducing warmth and scale while providing an ideal backdrop for displaying fine modern art. Double French doors open up to the home theater allow additional room when entertaining to let guest move about and admire the fine interior and the many works of art on display throughout the home. This late 1950’s residence has many modern architectural elements that give the space a clean appeal. Base modeling is minimal, crown molding doesn’t exist. Windows are not adorned with meticulous layers of woodwork and trim, and ceiling don’t tower above the occupants. Here think low, sleek and open. Rooms are in the traditional four square fashion either. They are elongated and flow from one space to another. The windows are not double pained, but huge floor to ceiling single glass evoking a large scenic picture. You can lounge in the living room and easily see what is going on near the pool, or tennis courts areas of your estate. The outdoors welcomes guests to lounge pool side, or sip a cocktail while soaking in the Sun.
Michelle was maintained the modern appeal to this architecture with custom shelving, landing pieces, davenports, and easy chairs. A smart elaborate card table completer with bespoke chairs invites an ending of bridge, or enjoying a light breakfast sipping coffee while enjoying the view outside.
