Corporate Office Work Spaces:

Some recent shots of a corporate office work stations and break area, by Dana Tatge of Key Interiors.  I really love the clean, uncluttered look of these spaces.  They are inviting, comfortable, practical and functional.   Precisely what the office professional needs.  Some favorites below. Shooting OVME:

We really love shooting commercial spaces.  This salon was photographed for the construction company’s portfolio just before occupancy.  Here, the interior designer has really created a comfortable space.  The use of whites, soft blue and teal elements contrast with the dark rich wood tones and white leather furniture to convey an uplifting, positive and soothing atmosphere for their clients.

Just a few shots below from the shoot.

Art Deco Make Over by Giovanna Brunetti:

We had the pleasure of capturing this modernized art deco residence for interior designer, Giovanna Brunetti. Giovanna stands out as a truly exceptional interior designer, known for her utilization of intimate bespoke workspaces to craft tailor-made drapes, cushions, and furniture pieces that defy mainstream availability. The meticulous attention to detail truly shines through, especially in the stunning pieces adorning the living space of this North Shore home.

Shot On Film - Mary:

This is a test shot of my business partner Mary Beth, taken back in 2001 at our Plainfield, Il. studio.  The camera use was a Mamiya RB67 with a SEKOR 90mm 3.8 lens.  Lighting was a set of Speedotron Browns, utilizing a 48” soft box for a main light and a 36”x12”bank light as a kicker.  A tube spot was used as a hair-light.  I personally love the look of film, and almost nothing looks like a 6x7 transparency on a light table.

Mitsubishi Capital:

We photographed this Mitsubishi executive conference area for Debby Hill of Key Interiors.  Having shot several corporate conference facilities in 2024, this one is our hands down favorite.

Elegant, comfortable, soothing colors, functional, the spaces check all the boxes and then some.  It's what one comes to expect from a fantastic interior designer and the superior design/build team of Key Interiors.

Below are my favorites from the shoot.

Popular Michigan Project:

Feedback is good!  We hear from builders, designers, publishers, and architects all the time.  Several projects in our portfolio are favorites across the board.  This is one of them.

Interior designer, Any Yates did a tremendous job on this Michigan home.  We loved photographing it, and yes, it’s one of our favorites too.

Below are a few shots of that amazing kitchen!

Shooting the Devon Restaurant:

We photographed the Devon restaurant back in 2018 for FBG Corporation.  We had very limited time and were only able to get maybe 6-10 shots the morning we were there.  I believe this was the first of three locations scheduled for photography that day.

Below are a few favorites.  To see more of our work please visit our website: www.normansizemore.com

Last Minute Assignment:

As an Architectural photographer, one of the significant challenges we face is handling last-minute assignments. Recently, we were tasked with photographing a restaurant just a day before its grand opening. The scene was chaotic, with teams of workers bustling around. I lost count of how many times someone walked into our shot, or bumped our equipment out of place, maintaining patience and working efficiently proved crucial.

Our client, a commercial builder, entrusted us with capturing documentation of the project for their portfolio. Despite the tight timeline and no ability to prep, we were pleased with the final results, as was our client.

The ability to adapt quickly and deliver quality work under pressure truly paid off.  To see more of our work please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com

Hampton Inn Interior Remodel:

Often, our assignments are commercial hotels that are designed for the family or businessman’s overnight stay.  Meaning, that it isn’t a vacation destination.  Still, our client wants the space to look as inviting and comfortable as possible.  So, the professional architectural photographer, brings their ‘A’ game to every shoot.

Just a few photos here of a Hampton Inn.  This is an older hotel that had just undergone a remodel.  We wanted to make sure our colors were accurate, that nothing was overexposed, blown or washed out.  The hotel owners go to great expense during a remodel and it is paramount that the images of the refreshened spaces look as up to date as anything available.

Details should be apparent and clean, colors should ‘pop’ with vibrance.  Camera control, lighting and full post-processing are the key to a fine-looking image that your client can use for years to come. To see more of our work please visit our website: www.normansizemore.com
