Photographing a Sports Bar:

We enjoy shooting commercial spaces. This sports bar stood out with its clean design and bright, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to gather, watch a game, pour a cold drink, and enjoy a classic pub burger with fries.

Here are some favorites from the photoshoot.

Shooting Sage Elite:

We photographed this project for a commercial design build firm that aimed to showcase both the materials and the interior design, an essential aspect in a salon setting. The goal was to convey an atmosphere that reflects luxury, comfort, and style, appealing to clients who seek an exceptional experience.

Here are a few favorites from the photoshoot:

  • Reception Area: The reception area features elegant furnishings and a striking color palette that sets the tone for the entire salon. The use of natural light emphasizes the textures of the wall finishes and the carefully selected decor.
  • Styling Stations: Each styling station is designed for both functionality and aesthetics. The combination of high-end materials and thoughtful layout invites clients to relax while enjoying personalized services.
  • Waiting Lounge: The waiting lounge is a blend of comfort and sophistication. Plush seating and stylish coffee tables create a welcoming environment, with decor that highlights the salon's brand identity.
  • Product Display: The curated product display area is not only a functional space but also serves as a visual focal point. The strategic arrangement allows for easy access while drawing attention to premium hair care products.
  • Treatment Rooms: The treatment rooms are designed as serene retreats. Soft lighting and calming color tones contribute to a peaceful atmosphere, enhancing the overall client experience.

Upscale Office Breakroom:

Jeanne Marcus designed this upscale office breakroom a few years back, creating a space that perfectly balances functionality and style. The thoughtful staging and careful selection of colors and materials contribute to an inviting atmosphere ideal for a busy office environment. Whether grabbing a quick coffee before a meeting or enjoying a lunch break, this room strikes the right chord.

Here are a few favorite shots of this remarkable space:

  • A wide-angle view capturing the harmonious blend of modern design with soothing tones, making it an inviting retreat within the office.
  • Close-ups featuring the exquisite details in material choices—sleek countertops paired with natural elements that enhance the overall aesthetic.
  • The seating arrangement, designed for both comfort and casual conversations, encouraging employees to unwind and connect.

This breakroom exemplifies how design can enhance the daily work experience while providing a delightful spot to recharge.

Transitiional Galley-Style Kitchen by Lauren Coburn:

One of our favorite projects from a few years ago was this transitional design by Lauren Coburn. Updating a mid-century home can be quite a challenge, yet Lauren expertly modernizes this galley-style kitchen with the introduction of bespoke cabinets and high-end appliances. The clean lines, silk wallpaper, and custom dining room set contribute to a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

Below are a few of our favorite shots from this remarkable project. More images will follow soon.

Dymanic Office Space:

Recently, I was asked if I had any photos of a ‘bold, dynamic office space’.   This space created by the incredible team at Key Interiors immediately came to mind. Here are some favorites that highlight the innovative design and thoughtful use of materials.

  1. Open Collaboration Area
The open layout encourages teamwork and creativity, with flexible seating arrangements that adapt to various working styles. The vibrant colors and textures add energy to the environment.
  2. Private Work Pods
These intimate work pods provide a sense of privacy while still maintaining an open feel. The use of glass walls allows natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.
  3. Multi-Functional Meeting Rooms
Equipped with the latest technology, these meeting rooms can be reconfigured for different purposes, from brainstorming sessions to formal presentations. The modern aesthetics blend functionality with style.
  4. Lounge Spaces
Casual lounge areas foster informal gatherings and relaxation. Comfortable furniture and greenery create a welcoming vibe, encouraging employees to take breaks and recharge.
  5. Creative Nooks
Small, creatively designed nooks throughout the office provide spaces for quiet focus or casual discussions. These areas reflect the innovative spirit of the overall design.

Each of these elements contributes to a dynamic office space that not only promotes productivity but also enhances employee well-being. The thoughtful design by Key Interiors sets a standard for what modern work environments can achieve.

Midcentury Modern Master Suite:

Recently, we had the opportunity to capture a beautiful master suite that exemplifies the synergy between architecture and interior design. This new home, crafted by architect Nate Kipnis, features an elegant mid-century modern aesthetic that is both timeless and inviting. Partnering with interior designer Janet McCann, the result is a harmonious blend of unique architectural elements and thoughtfully curated interiors.

The master suite showcases familiar characteristic lines of mid-century modern look, complemented by a serene color palette that enhances the natural light entering the room. Each detail, from the carefully chosen furnishings to the bespoke table side lighting fixtures, reflects a commitment to quality and style.

Here are a few shots from this exceptional project.

Creative Use of Space!:

While photographing a custom kitchen for Geno Benvenuti, he mentioned that he did a wine bar and rack on the lower level and wanted to know if I thought it was photo worthy?  What a creative use of hall space!
