Professional Exterior Photography - The Difference:

Shooting an exterior requires careful attention to the time of day. The ideal conditions typically occur during the golden hours—early morning or late afternoon—when the natural light enhances architectural features without harsh shadows. In most cases, additional external light sources are unnecessary, given the warmth and depth natural light provides.

However, the real artistry lies in post-processing. The digital darkroom is where images transform into stunning representations of the property's design. Professional post-processing not only corrects any minor flaws but also enhances colors, contrasts, and details, ensuring the final images maintain a polished, high-end aesthetic. These beautifully crafted images serve as vital assets for marketing portfolios, showcasing the property's best attributes for years to come.

If a photographer presents images that are unedited, it's crucial to reconsider your choice. A lack of professional processing can undermine the quality of the work and the integrity of the presentation. Quality photography is not just about capturing an image; it’s about delivering a meticulously refined representation that truly embodies the essence of the space. Always seek a photographer who prioritizes this level of professionalism.

Tiny Kitchen, Huge Storage Space!

We appreciate all feedback from those who visit our website and blog. This project, in particular, has generated a significant amount of commentary.

The tiny kitchen we photographed showcases an incredible transformation. The homeowner shared that prior to the remodel, they struggled with minimal storage space. It was at this juncture that Geno Benvenuti and his team stepped in.

The result of their efforts is remarkable. The homeowner now enjoys more storage than they originally thought possible, often pointing out several empty cabinets during the photoshoot. They were astonished, with the functionality, design, and flawless execution of the remodel. This project is a testament to how thoughtful design can completely revitalize a space. Signature Shot - Neff of Chicago:

This was one of the most consistently published spaces we have every photographed.  It is an award winning design by Neff of Chicago back in 2014.  I met Nancy Olive from Neff of Chicago on-site, in addition to needing some images for their portfolio, they were looking for a single image to use in a magazine ad.  That image, became a signature shot for Neff and ourselves.  Just a few favorites below.

Flashback Friday! Peter Scherrer & Jana Dahl:

Flashback Friday! It's 2013, and we had the pleasure of shooting for architect Peter Scherrer and interior designer Jana Dahl. Jana worked her magic, staging the rooms beautifully, while I focused on capturing the exterior. Inside, we put in the effort to get both daytime and late afternoon shots, showcasing the home’s intricate architectural details.

Looking back at these images brings a wave of nostalgia—this home was truly remarkable, both in design and execution. Jana's talent in interior design complemented Peter's architectural vision perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with both Peter and Jana on this project.

Here are just a few of the interior images. We will share some exterior shots soon.
