A couple of years ago, we were called to photograph a dentist office that stood out from the many others we have worked with. This was a standalone building housing an exceptionally large dental team. What made this project different was the palpable enthusiasm from everyone, clearly proud of their new space and passionate about their work. This energy was especially evident in the three production videos we created for the team, capturing authentic moments that reflected their dedication and camaraderie. Overall, it was a very memorable experience. Below are some of our favorite shots from the shoot. To see more of our work, please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com
Shooting Sauber Manufacturing:
The seasoned architectural photographer knows that not every assignment can be glamorous. Still, it’s important to approach every project, regardless of scope, with the same enthusiasm as if photographing a luxury resort.
Case in point: a manufacturing plant. The primary focus was on the remodeled offices and break room, but the client also wanted a few images of the manufacturing floor. When shooting an industrial space, it’s essential to ensure strong compositions, precise processing, and vibrant, accurate colors. These elements bring life to the space and showcase the craftsmanship and design intent, even in a purely functional environment.
Below are some favorites from the shoot, highlighting the remodeled interiors alongside impactful views of the industrial floor. To see more of our work, please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com
Allegiance Bank: Houston:
We photographed the newly completed Allegiance Bank interior in Houston, Texas. Arriving onsite at 5:00 a.m., we began with exterior shots in the soft morning light before moving inside to capture the front lobby prior to the arrival of staff. The space is clean and inviting, featuring an upscale interior design that creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. A few of our favorite images from the shoot are featured below. Shooting Petite Maison Montessori:
or our recent assignment photographing Petite Maison Montessori in East Texas, we focused initially on the exterior to fully capture the entire facade. This included not only the school but also the adjoining offices, which share the same architectural theme. Our goal was to create a shot that would resonate with builders, architects, and the other tenants in the building alike.
To capture the full 150-foot length of the building with the correct perspective, we drove Mary’s Jeep out into the adjacent field. From there, I climbed on top to achieve the ideal vantage point. This approach allowed us to showcase the structure’s clean lines and cohesive design in a single frame.
We were very pleased with the final images, which successfully highlight both the architectural integrity and the inviting nature of the school and surrounding offices. To see more of our work, please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com
Corporate Construction Offices - Houston:
After photographing the exterior of this Houston builder, we moved indoors. It’s essential for professionals in the construction industry to project a well-established image, and this builder certainly achieves that. The clean, professional atmosphere creates an inviting space to meet, plan, and coordinate the many facets of the construction process. We were very impressed with the thoughtfully designed offices and the knowledgeable, kind staff. Some favorites from the shoot are showcased below. Construction Office: Texas:
We do quite a bit of work in Texas, covering a range of projects from hotels and restaurants to custom homes and corporate offices. A recent example is a construction office exterior shoot in Houston. The client wanted to showcase not only the building’s façade but also the patio, parking lot, and adjacent warehouse, capturing the full scope of the site.
Thanks to the perfect Houston weather, the shoot was a pleasure. With the building facing east, we scheduled the session for around 6:00 a.m., before the office opened. This timing provided excellent natural light with beautiful shadow detail, and we avoided any obstructions from cars or trucks that would soon arrive. Below are some of our favorite shots from the early morning session. To see more of our work, please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com
We Love What We Do!
In our nearly 30 years of photographing architectural spaces, we have continuously refined an approach that sets our images apart from others in the field. One hallmark of our work is that the lights are always on. Lighting is an integral part of the design, and showcasing it adds warmth, ambience, and life to every space we capture.
Every image we deliver is hand-processed, ensuring the removal of any distracting elements. This meticulous attention to detail guarantees colors that are accurate, rich, and vibrant. Our goal is for each photograph to feel so three-dimensional that you could almost step right into the scene.
While it might be easier to shoot with the lights turned off, rely solely on the camera’s processing, or rush to deliver images immediately after a shoot, this is not our standard. Those shortcuts are accessible to anyone. When you hire a seasoned professional, you expect skill and artistry that elevate your project above the competition.
We love what we do, and that passion drives us to never cut corners. Not ever. To see more of our work, please visit our website. www.normansizemore.com
