In the comfortable living room of a Michigan home, nestled in a serene older neighborhood with expansive wooded lots, interior designer Andy Yates works his magic. Soft, calming colors and bespoke furnishings create a tranquil ambiance, complemented by carefully selected accessories that add the perfect finishing touch to the space. A true haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Bold Contemporary Condo:
Flashback Friday – The year is 2010, and interior designer Desiree Denoyer had me shoot a project in the City that she had recently completed. The bold colorful contemporary space was probably my favorite shoot of the year. Desiree, was sipping wine and staging spaces while I was setting up compositions. We worked hard and were able to complete the shoot in one evening.
I just might share one or two more from this photoshoot. I still love it.
Artistic Dining Room:
I was speaking with a fellow architectural photographer a couple of days ago, and he was mentioning how everything sometimes looks the same. I didn’t really agree with that. Shooting so many projects, you’re sure to see similarities. Then there are those projects that just stick in your mind as different, in the most wonderful way. This project by interior designer and artist Letitia Holloway is one of those.
Letitia is a very special interior designer. She has high-energy, and likes to push beyond the common and expected, sourcing or creating one-off pieces of furniture and art, to ensure that you’re not going to see this anywhere else. Below is a dining room I photographed a couple of years ago.
Corporate Office Work Spaces:
Some recent shots of a corporate office work stations and break area, by Dana Tatge of Key Interiors. I really love the clean, uncluttered look of these spaces. They are inviting, comfortable, practical and functional. Precisely what the office professional needs. Some favorites below. Precisely what the office professional needs. Some favorites below.
Shooting OVME:
We really love shooting commercial spaces. This salon was photographed for the construction company’s portfolio just before occupancy. Here, the interior designer has really created a comfortable space. The use of whites, soft blue and teal elements contrast with the dark rich wood tones and white leather furniture to convey an uplifting, positive and soothing atmosphere for their clients.
Just a few shots below from the shoot.
Beautiful Kitchen Update:
This kitchen update was done by the fabulous interior design team at Michelle’s Interiors. It’s incredible how an amazing interior designer can completely transform a home. Just a few favorites below.
Art Deco Make Over by Giovanna Brunetti:
We had the pleasure of capturing this modernized art deco residence for interior designer, Giovanna Brunetti. Giovanna stands out as a truly exceptional interior designer, known for her utilization of intimate bespoke workspaces to craft tailor-made drapes, cushions, and furniture pieces that defy mainstream availability. The meticulous attention to detail truly shines through, especially in the stunning pieces adorning the living space of this North Shore home.
