House in the Suburbs -

You knew it was going to happen. This south Chicago suburban home sits in a historic neighborhood surrounded by mature trees and beautiful landscapes. Designed by Architect Michael Bus, this is one of our favorite homes of all time. Just a beautiful example of classic timeless architecture.

Every angle reveals meticulous attention to proportion and detail: the balanced façades, generous windows that frame the exterior greenery, and the layered rooflines that give the home quiet dignity. Inside, natural light moves through a thoughtful plan—highlighting rich materials, refined millwork, and rooms scaled for comfort without excess. Each space reads as both purposeful and welcoming, a modern interpretation of traditional forms that feels entirely at ease in its setting.

This is classic architecture done right: timeless, rooted in tradition, and composed with a clarity that endures.
