LUMINAIRE - HENGE - Kitchen Display - Chicago:

We received a recent assignment from Fabrizio Ceppi, marketing genius at Luminaire. Fabrizio asked us to photograph the new HENGE display at the Chicago showroom. The Luminaire team was wonderful to work with (thank you, Duncan), and the images turned out great.

We were tasked with matching HENGE’s existing marketing imagery to maintain brand identity, so our approach focused on clean composition, natural-looking lighting, and precise color fidelity. Below are some favorites from their kitchen display — refined details, material texture, and the sculptural balance HENGE is known for. Amazing.

The Hotel Exterior:

It’s equally important when photographing a Hotel Exterior that you attempt to created a composition that will not only show the scale of the building, but also to create a shot that is inviting to the potential patron.   Here we photographed these buildings for marketing brochures and shot them in light that would complimented the exterior and make the hotel stand apart from others in the area.    Post processing is paramount.  Removing high tension power lines, and poles lets the one see the buildings architecture without interference and allows the images to be used in portfolios and sales brochures.  More to come.

The Hotel Bar & Lounge:

An important part of any hospitality assignment is photographing the hotel bar and restaurant.  It’s important to take note of composition and lighting, making the space look inviting and welcoming.  Below are a few favorites.

Custom Home Inteior by Dave Huber:

We really loved the bold color used in this custom home by Dave Huber. Every detail reflects the mark of high-end interior design Dave’s firm is known for. The saturated hues woven through furnishings, millwork, and finishes bring warmth and intimacy to expansive spaces, while punctuating the home’s refined architectural lines. Strategic pops of color guide the eye from room to room, creating moments of contrast that enhance texture, materiality, and natural light. The result is a sophisticated yet inviting interior where bold color becomes both a design statement and a unifying thread.

Custom Pergola by Dave Huber:

Just one last quick post — the perfect retreat for the tired homeowner: a cozy custom pergola. Stone and wood pillars anchor a large gable roof with a warm hardwood interior ceiling. Heavy canvas curtains keep the chill out while you enjoy a roaring fire in the stone fireplace or watch your favorite game with a hot toddy in hand. Clean, timeless details and thoughtful materials make this space both inviting and durable. More to come.

Custom Home by Huber Homes:

We photographed this custom home by Dave Huber to showcase its meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful architecture. The stone and stucco façade evokes old‑world building traditions, while clean lines and proportionate detailing give the residence a timeless, refined presence. Set on a private wooded lot, the property opens onto a spacious outdoor patio—an ideal spot for a hot cup of tea on an autumn day, quietly framed by the surrounding trees and designed to maximize both comfort and connection to nature.

Custom Den by Huber Homes:

Continuing with a custom home by master home builder Dave Huber. Here we find old-world craftsmanship rendered with modern precision: rich hardwood floors that guide you through rooms layered in texture and light; a wooden coffered ceiling that crowns the space with measured rhythm and depth; custom built-in bookcases, the kind that invite touch and linger in the eye; and hardwood wainscot that anchors walls with quiet, enduring detail. Every element bears the mark of master craftsmen—hand-fitted joinery, thoughtful proportions, and materials chosen for longevity and warmth. More to come from Huber Homes.
