Luxury Art Deco Apartment by Orren Pickell Builders:

We photographed a remarkable historic two-story apartment on Chicago’s Upper North Side for Patrick Falso of Allegro Design, renovated by Orren Pickell with interiors by Aimee Nemeckay.

The project retained the apartment’s original interior architecture while bringing its amenities and finishes fully up to date. The result is nothing short of world-class—a careful balance of preservation and contemporary luxury.

Below are a couple of teaser images from the lavish foyer entrance. The space features an elegant marble floor and a grand sweeping staircase—an impressive welcome that sets the tone for the rest of the residence.
