Here are a few interior shots from a recent medical clinic photoshoot we completed for a commercial interior design firm. Clean lines and uncluttered spaces are essential when photographing clinics—so we scheduled the shoot for early morning to ensure the main areas were pristine and free of activity. Our goal was to highlight the clinic’s circulation and wayfinding, the custom medical tables and equipment, and the functional workspaces that support modern clinical workflows. Commercial Photoshoot:

It was cold and raining when our client asked us to photograph a small commercial strip of retail and medical suites in the suburbs. “Can we wait for better weather?” I asked. “No,” was the obvious answer. The images needed to begin marketing the empty spaces for buildout and rent. “Make them look as good as you can—we need them this week.” And so we did.

We chose three clear compositions that showed the best lines, entrances, and signage, then completed the exterior shoot quickly and moved on to photograph a nearby restaurant interior a few minutes away. Knowing these images had to read inviting and market-ready, we processed them as usual, then spent time in the digital darkroom refining each frame.

We added grass and a better sky pulled from another photograph, cleaned up the parking lot and concrete apron, removed distracting elements, and attended to small details that make a big difference in presentation. Every adjustment was made by hand—no artificial intelligence was used. The result was a set of polished, market-ready images our client could use immediately for listings and promotional materials. They were pleased, and so were we.

Longing For Warm Summer Nights:

Longing for warm Summer days, we thought we would visit a photoshoot that we had for Kings Landscaping a couple of years back.  We really loved the large secluded back yard and the Spanish style home enhanced by a large gathering deck, outdoor kitchen and bar as well as a huge hot tub.  Some favorites below.

Commercial Dusk Shoot:

We have had several commercial assignments that required that us to photograph the space at dusk.  This requires that we plan carefully and have our compositions in mind beforehand as that special cobalt blue light only lasts maybe 15min so it is essential that you move quickly and have everything properly lit for the shot.  Careful planning can even make something as ordinary as a carwash look magical.

Art Deco Tudor Home Office:

 So what do you do with a huge walk-up attic in an Art Deco Tudor estate? Lauren Coburn turned it into a refined home office that balances form and function.

• Exposed, hand-cut trusses were painted to draw the eye upward as you enter, emphasizing the attic’s generous volume and architectural character.

• Large windows on all sides flood the space with natural light, keeping the open-plan office bright and inviting throughout the day.

• Custom built-in cabinetry organizes work and personal files while providing an extended counter for workflow and room for decorative objects, maintaining a clean, tailored look.

• A bespoke center table anchors the room, serving drinks and casual meetings. Four leather swivel lounge chairs create a relaxed yet professional atmosphere—ideal for informal client conversations or cocktails with friends.

Bespoke Dining Room: Tudor Estate:

The Dining Room in this Tudor estate is one of our favorite spaces. Above the table hangs a striking bespoke glass light fixture that illuminates the room without a single bulb or visible wire. Its form is engineered to catch and reflect light—natural and artificial—scattering warm, even illumination through the space. The result is elegant and unexpected: a lighting solution that reads as sculpture and functions purely by reflection, masterful in both design and execution.

Timeless Home Office:

This smart, clean second-floor home office is the ideal blend of professional function and relaxed comfort. Framing the room is a soothing palette of nautical blue walls, pure white trim, and off-white carpeting that together evoke an Upper East Coast sensibility—refined, calm, and quietly confident.

Custom details anchor the space: a bespoke frameless bookstand, a tailored wall unit, and a minimalist desk create a seamless transitional interior that’s both practical and elegant. The layout accommodates multiple uses—catch up on business matters, host client meetings, or simply close the French doors after hours and settle into an Eames chair with a good book. A generous lounge area provides comfortable seating for waiting clients or guests and easily converts into an entertainment nook when desired.

Large sliding doors open onto an expansive sun deck, bringing in natural light and extending the workspace outdoors. Thoughtful proportions, timeless finishes, and understated design choices make this office suite both appealing and enduring—perfect for work, meetings, and quiet retreat.
