Autmn Is In The Air:

Here in the Midwest, autumn is in the air—a bit early, but unmistakable as it quietly approaches. It brings to mind a large historic estate we photographed last year during leaf fall. This early 20th-century home was meticulously restored to better-than-new condition by Berliant Builders. Touring the space, we were continually impressed by their craftsmanship and their ability to modernize the interiors while preserving every ounce of the home's original character. The woodwork restoration alone is a masterpiece that could fill an entire book. Without question, this stands as one of our all-time favorite homes to capture.

Thoughtful Spaces:

I love when architects create thoughtful spaces in a home.  Two of our favorites from a shoot a few years back are this breakfast nook and enclosed four seasons room by 42 North Architects.  The nook features a lovely bench seat, high ceiling and large windows to enjoy the beautiful Michigan outdoors.  The four seasons room is the perfect place to enjoy have a coffee and reading a book.  The large fire place makes this the perfect autumn getaway.  More to come.

High-End Condo Remodel by Geno Benvenuti:

Recent photoshoot for Geno Benvenuti, held in a high-end Chicago condo. The entire space was taken down to the studs, allowing for a complete transformation. This shoot highlights the living room and kitchen area, where superb craftsmanship is evident throughout. From the rich hardwood flooring to the bespoke cabinets, every detail reflects exceptional quality.

Benvenuti and Stein are Chicagoland’s premier custom home remodelers, known for their unmatched cabinet and woodworking skills. Below are some favorite shots from the project, with more to come showcasing their incredible work.

Updated Meeting Spaces -

We recently had the opportunity to photograph a local advertising agency that recently revamped their office meeting spaces. The design beautifully blends industrial elements with modern comfort. The exposed brick and open ceiling of the "locker room" area immediately draw attention, highlighted by the unique bleacher seating that invites collaboration and casual conversation.

The ceiling’s I-beams and the textured finish—achieved by sandblasting years of paint off various surfaces—add a raw, authentic charm to the updated facility. The weathered details create a striking contrast against the contemporary furnishings, reinforcing the space’s creative and dynamic environment.

Below are some of our favorite shots capturing the distinctive character and thoughtful design of this inspiring workspace.

The Future of Shopping:

The future of shopping has arrived.  We shot this high-tech supermarket just before stocking and opening.  All looks plain and ordinary, except that there are no checkouts and hundreds of ceiling mounted cameras.  Just pick up your groceries and leave.  Amazing.  Some favorites below.

Shooting Stone Gate:

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to photograph Stone Gate reception hall. A new addition to the already expansive facility was the highlight of the shoot. We focused on capturing the exterior to showcase how seamlessly this addition was integrated into the existing complex. Below are some of our favorite images from the project.

Shooting Sushi Grove:

We recently photographed Sushi Grove, a popular local restaurant renowned for its super fast service and outstanding cuisine. This spot is ideal for satisfying sushi cravings during a busy lunch hour. Below are some of their standout dishes captured through our lens, showcasing the quality and freshness that keep customers coming back.
