We recently had the pleasure of photographing a stunning condo completed by the Howard Design Group in Chicago. Cindy gave us a detailed tour of the space, which was just ready for furniture.. The condo features custom hardwood floors that add warmth and sophistication throughout. A striking stone linear fireplace serves as the centerpiece of the living area, flanked by twin built-in cabinets that provide both function and elegance.
The wet bar and bespoke kitchen showcase exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail, making the space perfect for both everyday living and entertaining. The powder room, guest bath, and master suite bath all feature custom hand-built cabinetry by A.W.E., enhancing the overall refined aesthetic.

Vintage Condo Master Suite Remodel:
This Master Suite, part of a vintage condo remodel by Benvenuti & Stein, showcases the skill and creativity required when working within strict structural limitations. The building’s fixed ceiling height and existing floor plan presented significant challenges, yet the design team navigated these constraints with precision, creating a space that feels both spacious and luxurious.
Despite working with what was available, the suite now offers ample closet space and generous circulation around the room, enhancing both functionality and comfort. The Master Suite Bathroom features bespoke cabinetry and elegant marble floor tiles, adding a touch of timeless sophistication. A large walk-in shower and a thoughtfully designed vanity desk complete the space, ensuring modern convenience and style.

High End Condo by Jan Bromberek:
We photographed this stunning condo for Jan Bomberek a few years ago. Jan’s exceptional design work truly set this space apart, showcasing rich, plush custom furnishings, elegant hardwood floors, and meticulously crafted bespoke window treatments. The remarkable attention to detail throughout the space was simply incredible. From carefully selected china and artisanal pottery to delicate handblown glassware and thoughtfully curated canvas wall art, every single element contributed harmoniously to the overall sophisticated aesthetic. Walking through the front door, it’s impossible not to be impressed and think to yourself, Wow! Here are a few of our favorites from the shoot.
Shooting With Janet:
Just a few teaser shots from a recent photo shoot with interior designer Janet McCann. This cozy family room, located just off the kitchen, perfectly balances comfort and elegance. I’m particularly drawn to the bespoke furnishings and the rich walnut wall panels that add warmth and depth to the space. The lighting in this room is remarkable, making it look inviting at any time of day.

Shooting Marietta:
While we are most known for our architectural work, our roots are firmly planted in photographing fine art portraits, models, and musicians. At the core, we love photographing people. It’s always a more meaningful assignment when you know the person well. The usual awkwardness and hesitation that come with having your photo taken by a stranger simply disappear. Subjects feel comfortable, relaxed, and are more receptive to direction from the photographer. Over time, as you collaborate more, you build confidence and trust. You know they have your best interests in mind and will deliver images that truly reflect your essence.
A perfect example is a shoot I did with Marietta Calas. We were working on a marketing brochure for her, and my business partner and graphic artist, Mary Beth, expressed the need for updated photos. After reviewing the brochure concept, I immediately knew the direction I wanted to take. I reached out to Marietta and set up a location shoot in the lower level of her home, where I arranged studio lights and a backdrop.
Once the session began, I shared my vision with Marietta, and she followed my directions flawlessly. Within minutes, I captured the exact shots I needed. The process was quick and effortless, largely because Marietta and I have worked together for years. I had done many branding and portrait sessions with her before, which made a significant difference.
The images turned out perfectly for her brochure. I can’t even count the number of compliments I’ve received from clients and fellow photographers about these photos. Below are a few shots from the session that showcase the effortless connection and professionalism we achieved.
